Faugh Head Farm Caravan & Camping Site

Situated in the beautiful Eden Valley above the picturesque village of Armathwaite, the site offers views over the valley and is surrounded by excellent walking and cycling country via lanes and woods. Red squirrels and Roe deer are frequently seen.

It is convenient for touring the Lakes or the Borders, Roman Wall Country and the unspoilt East Fellside Country of the Pennines.

The Settle-Carisle railway runs through Armathwaite and there is a regular service stopping at Armathwaite station.

There are several excellent pubs in the nearby villages each offering quality locally produced food.

Cumbria is famous for its local produce and we are proud to recommend local suppliers for those wishing to shop for their own supplies.

We are an Adults only site so peace and tranquillity are the order of the day, Dogs are welcome and we are happy to allow them, under supervision, onto the specified fields around the farm, All dogs must be kept on a leash within the caravan site, they can run free in the exercise field which is next to the site, All dog fouling must be cleaned up and bagged by the dog owner there are bins around the site to deposit it.
There is a picnic/BBQ area on site.

There is also a heated indoor swimming pool on the farm, which is available for private hire through its normal booking facilities.

Site is open from Easter 2011 until end of October 2011.
